Off-piste Course
Off-piste excursions require extensive knowledge of the mountain environment. Our instructors will share their vast mountain expertise and guide you through our most stunning off-piste routes!

In groups of up to 8, you'll explore the amazing off-piste terrain of Tignes and Val d'Isère, guided by the esf Tignes le lac Off-Piste Team.

Every day, based on snow and weather conditions, our instructors will lead you on a new adventure, hunting for the freshest slopes to carve.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT   (Included in the Off-Piste Course price)

Since our clients' safety is a top priority, we always provide essential safety equipment to everyone heading out for off-piste skiing excursions:
- Avalanche Airbag (ABS),
- Avalanche Transceiver (DVA),
- Shovel,
- Probe.

For more details, our off-piste instructors are on hand at the esf office every evening from 5.15pm. Drop by the off-piste session from 5.30pm to 6.30pm to go over the latest snow and weather conditions.

I am not 18 yet, can I still join the Off-piste Course?
The off-piste camp is exclusively for adults. During French school holidays, we offer the Team Rider Course for kids and teens.
do i need to hire special equipment to join the off-piste course?
We recommend "wide" skis, as they’re ideal for skiing in powder snow. We also strongly recommend that you wear a helmet. All safety equipment is provided and included in the price of your lesson.
